Liver Problems

Liver problems include a wide range of diseases and conditions that can affect your liver. Liver problems can be inherited or can occur in response to viruses, chemicals or cancer. Some liver problems are temporary, whilst others can lead to serious complications.

There are numerous symptoms of liver problems some of which can include:-

  • Discoloured skin and eyes that appear yellowish
  • Abdominal pain
  • Pale coloured bowel movements
  • Dark urine colour
  • Nausea
  • Loss of appetite

Patients should seek medical advice if they experience persistent symptoms.

Gall Bladder Problems

Gall bladder problems can be mistaken for other digestive symptoms such as indigestion and bloating. If accompanied by other symptoms such as:-

  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Pale bowel movements
  • Diarrhoea
  • Constipation
  • Pain after eating a meal with fats or grease
