Financing Treatment

We welcome everyone to Nucleus Healthcare, whether you have private health insurance or are paying for your own consultation, investigations and continuing care.

If you have health insurance, please contact your insurer to confirm that your policy is valid and it covers you for the categories of treatment you could receive at Nucleus Healthcare.  Some policies may not cover all aspects of your care.

You will need to request an authorisation number prior to your visit and may need to fill in a pre-authorisation letter which your insurer will send to you if necessary.  Each different procedure will require a new authorisation number before we are able to continue with your treatment package.

If you are paying yourself, please ensure you are fully aware of the cost of your treatment and aftercare.  You will be asked to pay in full for each visit when you arrive.  An invoice will be given if required listing the care package you are to receive.

At Nucleus Healthcare we understand that paying for treatment could be a source of anxiety for patients.  Should you have any concerns or queries, please contact our dedicated Patient Business Office on 01633 811221 so we can guide and advise you.

If you are a self pay patient please note that we accept credit or debit cards, cash and cheques (please allow 4 days prior to any procedure for cheque clearances).

Nucleus Healthcare Introduce 0% Finance

At Nucleus we understand how difficult funding treatment can be for our patients, help with finance can make all the difference.

From February 2009 we have introduced an interest free finance plan to make treatment not only more affordable but also more accessible to a wider selection of patients ensuring they do not have to wait.

Costs can be spread over a period of time, from 12 to 24 months to suit individual circumstances.

Anyone over the age of 18 may benefit and apply. Patients can borrow as little or as much as they require to cover treatment costs.

When staff have confirmed the costs, an' on site' credit application can be made by our staff. Most patients applications are approved there and then within minutes, so a date may be confirmed for treatment before they leave.

The loan is repaid in affordable monthly payments over an agreed term by direct debit. Nucleus staff will discuss all the options available to help patients decide on the most suitable repayment period.

There are no hidden costs and no deposit is necessary.

If patients require further diagnostic procedures they can choose to have an additional facility to cover extra costs as often as required subject to the usual credit application.
